Library services

Can I use library resources from off campus? Yes! You can access our usual selection of electronic resources through the Databases A-Z list, as well as many new ones now available for free during these unusual circumstances.

Do I need to renew my books?

  • Augustana and I-Share materials - For now, you don't need to renew anything.  I-Share is not currently tracking due dates or issuing fines, and neither is Augustana. We will update this page with due dates as they become known.
  • Interlibrary Loan/ILL (materials with a blue band on the front cover) - As items come due, we will contact the lending library for a renewal.

What if I can't return books because I'm off campus? Once we know a date for people to return items, we will update this page and send an email to campus with information about the return of library materials.

Can I request that the library mail me a book? The campus mailroom is closed, so the library cannot mail physical items at this time.

Can I pick up books I requested from I-Share or ILL that are sitting in the library right now? Unfortunately, due to the campus closure, the library cannot lend physical items at this time.
